About the Speakers

Kiruthika Devaraj is the RF & Comms Lead at Planet. She and her team build the satellite radios and ground stations that collectively download 5 TB of data everyday and recently deployed the fastest cubesat radios. Prior to Planet, Kiruthika was a research associate at the Kavli Institute of Particle Astrophysics and Cosmology (KIPAC) at Stanford University. Kiruthika holds a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology.
